Annual Events at Paper Moon!
Every year we hold three fun events right at our shop, as well as participate in the Iowa Indie Bookshop Tour. Read below to learn more about each event, we hope you will join us in the upcoming festivities!
Pearl's Birthday!
Our sweet Kitty Manager Pearl, has her Birthday celebration every year on the 2nd Saturday of March. This is a paw-some fundraising event where we ask guests to bring in donations of cat food, treats, kitty litter, or monetary. donations to be given to a local animal shelter/cat rescue. Those who donate get to celebrate with Pearl and are offered a shop discount for the day!
Held every year in June, this lovely march/parade is all about celebrating the authentic you! Participants are encouraged to dress in a way that represents their personality, and bring something to wave as we march up and down the main street of McGregor together. We also provide bright signs, and banners!

Kitty-Cocktails & Cheeseballs
Each year on Small Business Saturday (in November) we elevate the holiday cheer with themed cocktails and delicious homemade cheeseballs to enjoy while you shop!
